Where and when should you be in Oudenaarde?

Oudenaarde is not only the finish line for both races, you can also be there for the start of the women's race and the accompanying team presentation!

Market
 

  • From 11.40 to 12.40 the women's team presentation will take place, around 12.50 the men will pass by and the women's race will start at 13.10.

Public village
 

  • Opens at 13.00 pm right next to the finish in Minderbroedersstraat with a big screen, food and drink stands and a podium ceremony at 18.00 pm.

Youth zone

  • Opens at 13.00 pm right next to the fan village in Minderbroedersstraat with the biggest screen.

 

Where are the fan villages along the course?

The Flemish Ardennes form the backdrop for exciting breakaways on iconic cobblestone stretches and steep slopes. These fan villages have been set up along the course:

Fan zone Koppenberg

  • The Koppenberg is once again part of the Tour of Flanders route this year. With a maximum gradient of over 22%, it's one of the most significant obstacles that cyclists have to overcome.

Fan zone Oude Kwaremont

  • On the Oude Kwaremont you can enjoy no fewer than three passages of the men and a double passage of the women.

Fan zone Hotond & Oude Kruisberg

  • The Hotond - Oude Kruisberg duo traditionally heralds the ultimate finale of Flanders‘ Most Beautiful race.

Fan zone Paterberg

  • The Paterberg is traditionally the last climb in Flanders’ Most Beautiful race, with one passage for the women and two for the men. 

Fan zone Oudenaarde

  • Who wouldn't want to experience the finish up close? In the public village right next to the finish line in Minderbroedersstraat, there is excitement everywhere! First with the finish of the men, followed by that of the women.

When does the women's race star?

The women's Tour of Flanders will officially get under way at 1.10 pm. The women's teams will be parading from 11.40 am to 12.40 pm. There is only one place to be: the Market Square!

When is the expected finish time?

The men will cross the finish line in Minderbroedersstraat at around 16.15, followed by the women who will cross the line at around 17.30. This is the earliest possible schedule.

At 6 p.m. you can cheer on the winners during the podium ceremony in the public village.

Getting there

How do I get to and around Oudenaarde?

We do not recommend coming by car. A car-free zone is in effect.

Come to Oudenaarde by train. Extra trains have been provided. The city centre is within walking distance of the station. From the station you can also take various shuttle buses provided by De Lijn to reach the fan villages.

Do you live nearby? Then come on foot or by bike.

 

Where can I park my mobile home?

Several locations have been set up as parking for mobile homes. Send an email to deronde@oudenaarde.be to reserve your spot.

How do I get to the the hospital of Oudenaarde?

The N60 on- and off-ramps are closed. You must take a detour via the Neringstraat (behind the Colruyt) and follow the signs to reach the General Hospital in Oudenaarde.

How do I get to the Meerspoort residential care centre?

The N60 on- and off-ramps are closed. On Saturdays, you can drive from Bevere via Coupure (two-way traffic) and via the Minderbroedersstraat roundabout to the Meerspoort car park. You can only leave the car park via De Coupure.

On Sunday, only from Bevere via Coupure and return via the same route.
