Margaret through the lens of Lieve Blancquaert

From September 21 to January 5

Experiencing Margaret through contemporary images and sounds? For that you have to be in Margaret's baptismal church, Pamele's Church of Our Lady.

Photographer Lieve Blancquaert and lutenist Floris De Rycker created a moving video and audio installation, a contemporary tribute to Margaret. The impressive installation portrays modern Margaret, accompanied by a poetic, narrative soundtrack narrated by Floris De Rycker and his company. The thread of the installation is strength and vulnerability through different stages of life. Those who delve into the life of the famous emperor's daughter soon realise that there is a Margaret in every woman.

This installation is an attempt to find Margaret again. In every woman, in every movement, in every look, in every visitor. Come along and discover your inner Margaret.

The installation can be visited every day between 9.30am and 5.30pm at Pamele's Church of Our Lady.A visit is included in your ticket for Margaret.

Exceptionally, the church will not be open to the public at the following times:

-28 September from 9.30 am to 1.30pm
