Can I reserve my ticket and audio guide in advance?
We recommend to book your ticket, but it is not obligatory. You can purchase your ticket on the day at the ticket counter, as long as the time slots are available. It is possible to buy your ticket in advance through the website so that you can visit the exhibition at the desired time.
Audio guides can only be rented at the ticket office on the day of your visit (subject to availability). It is always possible to use the audio guide via your smartphone.
I ordered my tickets online; do I have to print the confirmation email?
You should print the attachment (in PDF format) from the email or present it via your smartphone. This document contains a barcode that will be scanned at the ticket counter. The email itself is not sufficient to gain access to the exhibition.
I ordered my tickets online, but I did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
Check your spam mailbox. If you still didn't find your ticket, send an email to visitmargaretha@oudenaarde.be. During the weekend call 055 31 72 51.
Can I visit the exhibition before the time slot I reserved?
Visiting the exhibition before the chosen time slot is not possible. You book a ticket for a specific time slot, and from then on you have half an hour of leeway. You may arrive half an hour later than the booked time slot, and after that your ticket is no longer valid.
Is my ticket only valid for the "Margaret. Emperor's Daughter between Power and Image" exhibition? What else can I visit?
With your entrance ticket for the"Margaret. Emperor's Daughter between Power and Image" exhibition you also get access to the permanent tapestry collection in the Upper Cloth Hall, as well as to the impressive video and audio installation by Lieve Blancquaert in the Pamele Church of Our Lady. I ordered tickets for the wrong date. Can I still exchange my tickets or get a refund?
Due to administrative reasons, this is unfortunately not possible.
Is the Museum Pass valid to visit the exhibition?
Yes, you can use the Museum Pass. It entitles you to a free visit to the exhibition.
